Clinics, open play, leagues, tournaments… We have something for everyone.
CityPickle is redefining urban recreation through adaptive reuse, transforming underutilized spaces into vibrant pickleball courts. We’re excited to be featured in Commercial Construction & Renovation’s inaugural issue, spotlighting how we’re making pickleball more accessible while repurposing vacant areas.
Adaptive Reuse: A Smart Urban Solution
"As cities face challenges with limited land availability and increasing demand for recreational and entertainment facilities, adaptive reuse has emerged as a cost-effective, sustainable solution."
CityPickle’s West Palm Beach location is a prime example. Built on a vacant lot at CityPlace, which will eventually become an office tower, the project showcases how temporary installations can address immediate recreational needs while proving feasibility for long-term development.
"The project highlighted how flexible, adaptive reuse can quickly address recreational needs in urban environments. These events also underscore the potential of temporary adaptive reuse as a proof of concept for longer-term projects while fostering enthusiasm for the sport."

Unlocking the Potential of Pickleball in Cities
Our success at locations like Industry City, Central Park, and Hudson Yards further demonstrates the power of adaptive reuse. By converting these areas into active spaces, we unlock the potential for play, community engagement, and urban revitalization. These transformations lead to permanent, impactful changes in the urban landscape.
Leading the Way in Urban Recreation
CityPickle is proving that pickleball isn’t just a sport, it’s a catalyst for reimagining urban spaces. As cities seek sustainable solutions, our model offers a blueprint for integrating recreation into the fabric of dense environments.
