The CityPickle Cup will debut in 2027.
How It Works
The CityPickle Cup is a year-long competition where players earn points across eligible CityPickle events. Move up the leaderboard and compete for season-end prizes–including a $X,XXX grand prize.
Play in Eligible Events
Compete in CityPickle tournaments, leagues, Crown of the Court events, and other qualifying programs throughout the year.
You must participate in at least one league to qualify for the final CityPickle Cup standings and prizes.
Earn Points
Players earn points based on participation, performance, event type, and competitive level.
Larger and more competitive events offer more points.
Skill-level multipliers may also be applied so players are rewarded appropriately for competing at higher levels.
Climb the Standings
Your results are added to the season-long leaderboard.
Keep playing, improve your finishes, and track your progress throughout the year as you compete against players from across the CityPickle community.
Finish in the Top 10
At the end of the season, the highest-ranked eligible players will earn prizes and recognition.
The overall CityPickle Cup champion will take home the $X,XXX grand prize.

How do I join?
Simply fill out the form above and register for any CityPickle Cup event. All participants are automatically included in the rankings.

Who can participate?
The CityPickle Cup is open to CityPickle members and non-members who participate in eligible events.

Do I need to be an advanced player?
No. Eligible events may be offered across multiple skill levels, giving recreational and competitive players of all levels opportunities to participate.

How are Cup vs. non-Cup events designated?
All Cup events will be outlined in the schedule. If additional events are added, they will be announced in advance to give all participants the opportunity to register.

How many events do I need to play?
Players must participate in at least one eligible league to qualify for the final standings and season-end prizes.
Other than that, you can participate as often as you’d like. The more you compete, the more opportunities you have to earn points.

How are points calculated?
Points are based on factors such as event type, participation, finishing position, and competitive level. Higher-tier events may offer more points.

Can I compete at different levels?
Yes. However, to promote fairness, CityPickle monitors skill levels using Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating (DUPR) ratings. We reserve the right to remove any participant found to be sandbagging or misrepresenting their level.

Do all CityPickle programs count?
No. Only events specifically marked as CityPickle Cup eligible will count toward the standings.

Do points expire?
Points accumulate throughout the season and do not reset until a CityPickle Cup champion is crowned at the end of the year.

Updated rankings and point totals will be published on the CityPickle Cup standings page.
