Trade In. Trade Up. Give Back.

At CityPickle, we believe pickleball is more than just a game. It’s a community. And now, your old paddle can help grow that community in a meaningful way.

For the month of June, we are introducing the CityPickle Paddle Trade-In Program: a new initiative designed to give players the opportunity to upgrade their gear while helping expand access to the sport for the next generation of athletes.

Your Old Paddle Still Has Game

If you’ve been thinking about upgrading your paddle, now is the perfect time. The program allows you to bring any used paddle to a CityPickle Pro Shop and receive a $50 CREDIT toward the purchase of a new paddle.

Whether your paddle is lightly used, well-loved, or simply no longer your go-to, it can still make an impact on someone else’s game.

All you have to do is:

  1. Bring any used paddle to a CityPickle Pro Shop**
  2. Receive a $50 credit toward a new paddle purchase
  3. Your donated paddle will be redistributed through our nonprofit partners to support community programming and youth access initiatives

More Than a Trade-In

This program is about more than upgrading equipment; it’s about creating opportunity.

All donated paddles collected through the program will directly support CityPickle’s nonprofit community partners, helping make pickleball more accessible to youth players and underserved local communities.

We’re proud to kick off the initiative in partnership with Brooklyn Pickleball Team and Conquer Kids, two organizations committed to building confidence, connection, and community through sport. Together, we share a mission of introducing more young people to pickleball and ensuring access to quality equipment and programming. Conquer Kids operates in 15 schools across New York City. The organization is rapidly growing as the official youth program of the Brooklyn Pickleball Team and has announced plans to expand its programming to 50 additional schools over the coming months.

Every donated paddle represents:

  • A new player getting on the court
  • A young athlete learning the game
  • A community program gaining resources
  • A sustainable way to extend the life of sports equipment

Trade in. Trade up. Give back.

*Trade-in credit cannot be combined with any other discounts or promotions. If two paddles are traded in, a separate $50 credit may be applied toward each new paddle purchase.

**Trade-in only available at CityPickle locations where paddles are sold. These include Wollman Rink/Central Park, Times Square, and Long Island City.
